If you or someone you love is living with a neurological condition, this one is for you. As part of Exercise Right Week 2026, MV Fit is hosting a free Neuro Movement session on Tuesday 26 May.
Open to anyone living with a neurological condition including Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), stroke, and acquired brain injury.
Our Melbourne Exercise Physiology Gym has experience working across a wide range of neurological diagnoses, so whatever your condition, you are in the right place.
What is Exercise Right Week?
Exercise Right Week runs from 23 to 30 May 2026. It is a national initiative run by Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) to help Australians discover the benefits of exercise, supported by accredited exercise professionals.
Across the week, clinics, gyms, and health services around the country open their doors with free and discounted events for the community. MV Fit is proud to be part of it.
What is Neuro Movement?

Neuro Movement is MV Fit's exercise program specifically designed for people living with neurological conditions.
Every session is led by an accredited Exercise Physiologist, which is a university trained health professional qualified to design and deliver safe, evidence based exercise for people with complex health needs.
Exercise is one of the most well researched tools available for managing neurological conditions. Regular, targeted movement can help improve strength, balance, coordination, and independence. It helps slow the progression of symptoms over time.
This free event gives you the chance to experience it for yourself and speak with our Melbourne Exercise Physiology team.

Why Exercise Physiology (EP)?
An accredited Exercise Physiologist is not a physiotherapist or a personal trainer.
Exercise Physiologists are university qualified allied health professionals at the same tier as physiotherapists, with a specific focus on exercise prescription for chronic and complex health conditions.
They are not personal trainers. The difference matters. Every program is built around your diagnosis, your capacity, and your goals and not a generic fitness template.
A physiotherapist focuses on assessment, diagnosis, and hands-on treatment which is particularly useful in the early stages of injury or post-surgery recovery. An Exercise Physiologist picks up where that leaves off, using structured exercise to manage chronic conditions, restore function, and build long-term capacity.
A personal trainer works with generally healthy people to improve fitness. An Exercise Physiologist works with people whose health is complex prescribing exercise the way a GP prescribes medication.
