Christmas Carols in Queens Park 2023
We hope to see a lot of our MVFit Community down at this year 2023 Carol’s in Queen Park in December and enjoy the free entertainment that the Moonee Valley City Council has organised.

It’s a wonderful time of year Christmas, so if you are in the Moonee Valley area and looking for something to do why not join us all with a free evening of carols, children’s activities and festive cheer in Queens Park.
Pack a picnic, gather your family and friends and enjoy an outstanding line-up of local performers, schools and community groups including Moonee Valley Brass Inc and Moonee Valley Community Choir.

We also recommend bringing a picnic blanket to relax on and enjoy the beautiful evening.
Candles, food and refreshments will also be onsite for purchase.
What's On / Who is Performing this year?
MC Richard Thomas
Richard Thomas will again be the festive guide and MC throughout the carols, keeping the festive cheer at a solid level 10 throughout the night!
Moonee Valley Brass
Moonee Valley Brass is one of the local community’s longest running community groups. Originally Essendon City Band, they have been performing at local community events and at competitions around the country and overseas for over 100 years.
Team Dream - for the kids
Team Dream is one of Australia’s most exciting children’s entertainment groups, featuring an award winning cast. The focus of Team Dream is to get children moving their bodies, dreaming of lands of make believe and creating music
Silvie Paladino
Silvie Paladino is a versatile Australian entertainer known for her performances in Australia, Asia, and London's West End. She's also a familiar face on CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT
Tahlia Eve
Tahlia Eve is a Pop/RnB, Singer/Songwriter from Melbourne and will be on stage performing during the carols this year.

Local Community Choir
The Moonee Valley Community Choir is back again for 2023 and is made up of members of the local community. No experience necessary to join.
Where is Queens Park in Moonee Ponds?
I’m sure most of our local gym and pilates members at MVFit know where Queens Park is located, but for those who are not familiar with where it is we have added a map below.
From the gym at 378 Mt Alexander Road, Travancore VIC if you head up Mt Alexander road heading away from the city, it is less than a 5 minute drive (about 2km away).

Queens Park is a fantastic park, with lots of great grassed areas for exercise, and hopefully on Saturday 9th December we can get some nice weather for the Christmas Carols in 2023.
Moonee Valley Health and Fitness and this years Xmas Carols

Our trainers love being part of the Moonee Valley community and we definitely plan to set up a picnic again down at this years Xmas Carols. We would also love to see some of the Moonee Valley Health and Fitness members come down to this years event as well and help support the local performers, schools and community groups.
