Our 6 Week Lifestyle Challenge
We'd love for you to be part of our upcoming 6 Week Challenge.
The 6 Week Challenge is about helping everyone improve their habits by either creating and growing new positive habits and/or untangling those 'bad' habits we all have.
Over this next 6 weeks, it is about growing habits and starting super small and building momentum for 2021.
Post-Covid Lockdowns - Making 2021 a successful year
The world has changed in the past 12 months. Anytime the environment changes in a big way, behaviour changes in a big way. And I feel all of us throughout the pandemic have seen these changes (both good and bad).
There hasn't been too many positives to come out of 2020, and this next 6 weeks is about helping everyone start to create positive change with providing practical and useful steps for you to take.
Could You Commit to 5 Minutes a Day of Exercise?
This is ultimately what Our 6 Week Challenge minimum requirement is for everyone.
Now, when I ask anyone in the gym, could you exercise 5 minutes a day, the answer is always, 'Yes of course I could, but that's not enough I need to do...'
But the point of this challenge is not to do one thing. The point is to master the habit of showing up.
The truth is, a habit must be established before it can be improved. If you can’t learn the basic skill of showing up, then you have little hope of mastering the finer details.
I know these small gains can seem almost meaningless, especially in the beginning. But small habits can actually deliver incredible progress very quickly.
The idea of this challenge is to make your habits as easy as possible to start. Once you’ve started doing the right thing, it is much easier to continue doing it. A new habit should not feel like a hard challenge.
We rarely think about change this way because everyone is consumed by the end goal. But 5 minutes of exercise is better than not exercising at all, and we are here to help!
In the beginning, there is basically no difference between making a choice that is 1 percent better or 1 percent worse. But as time goes on, these small improvements or declines compound and you suddenly find a very big gap between people who make slightly better decisions on a daily basis and those who don't.
What starts as a small win or a minor setback accumulates into something much more.
I'd love for you to join us...
