Healthy Recipe – Dessert

The Ingredients You Need
1⁄2 cup dry white wine
1⁄2 cup water
3 tablespoons sugar
1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
4 firm but ripe peaches, halved or cut into thick slices

What To Do:
Place the wine, water, sugar and vanilla bean in a medium-size saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.

Reduce the heat and simmer for about 3 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. Remove the vanilla bean and scrape the seeds back into the syrup and then return the mixture back to a low boil. Add the peaches and simmer for about 10 minutes or until they are tender. Transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight before serving
