Banana Raspberry Sorbet

This recipe is simple, but make sure to use frozen raspberries and bananas so you get the correct texture. If you use fruit that isn’t frozen you will have to freeze it and then process it again for the best consistency. This tastes great and is so simple to make. Enjoy!

Healthy Recipe – Desert

The Ingredients You Need
2 cups frozen fresh raspberries
11⁄2 over-ripe bananas, sliced and frozen
3⁄4 cup plain low-fat yogurt
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice (optional)

What To Do:
Put the raspberries and banana in a food processor fitted with a steel blade and pulse until smooth. Scrape down the sides. Add the yogurt and lemon juice, if desired, and pulse until completely incorporated and bright pink. Serve immediately or cover and freeze in individual portions for up to 2 weeks. If you freeze portions, let them sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before you serve them.
